Lecture Theatre Upholstery

A large construction company approached us from Manchester to upholster the seats in 4 lecture theatres for their restoration project of the Samuel Alexander Building for the University of Manchester.

The Grade II listed building houses the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures for the University of Manchester. After the building had not been used for such a long period of time, there was extensive remodeling and refurbishment needed.

Our job was to remove the seating from the 4 lecture theatres, bring them back to our workshop for full strip down and re-upholstery, and to re-install the seating. The client chose a Commercial, contract quality material to withstand the traffic/ hard use of the lecture seating in a Green and Orange material.
